Zinnia are a hardy flowering plant that produce masses of brightly coloured blooms with contrasting orange centres. These flowers come in white, pink, orange, red and yellow. Zinnia make for a vibrant display in pots and containers, they are fabulous to use as a border, and look spectacular mixed in with a cottage-style garden. Zinnia thrive in full son and require well-drained soil. Removing the spent flowers regularly assists in elongating the flowering period!
