Gloxinias are one of the only flowering plants specifically suited to indoors. They have large, dark green velvety leaves and produce vibrant, bell-shaped flowers. Although they are predominantly an indoor specimen, Gloxinia will also thrive outdoors in a shaded area protected from excessive moisture. Gloxinias need plenty of bright, indirect light and a regular watering schedule. Avoid wetting the leaves to prevent dormancy.
