Sansevieria are more commonly known as 'snake plants' or 'mother-in-law tongue'. They are a unique succulent-type plant with stiff, fleshy multicoloured leaves that are often marked with interesting patterns. This particular variety of Sansevieria has been specifically bred to grow in a more compact fashion, and therefore is an excellent indoor or patio specimen due to its size. They prefer a warm and shady area where they can dry out between watering.
