Ruellia macrantha - Brazilian Rose

Ruellia macrantha, commonly referred to as the 'Brazilian Rose', is an evergreen shrub that produces stunning rose-purple flared funnel-shaped flowers in Winter and Spring. A harsh cut back after flowering will keep it from becoming straggly. This gorgeous shrub prefers a full sun to partially shaded area and does best when kept out of the intense afternoon sun.
