Rhipsalis mesembryanthemoides is a variety of epiphyte cacti with short, abundantly branched stems covered in soft, thin hairs. They are popular due to their unique appearance and lack of spikes. Generally, they perform best indoors but can also thrive outside in a shaded position. Rhipsalis look amazing cascading from hanging baskets, shelves or even as part of wall gardens. They tolerate warm conditions, have minimal watering requirements and prefer well-drained soil.
