Exacum affine is a dainty little shrub and is affectionately referred to as the 'Persian Violet'. It has a compact growth habit, only getting to a height and width of approximately 30cm. The Persian Violet produces masses of small, sweetly scented deep blue flowers and prefers to be planted in a partially shaded position in fertile, well-drained soil.
