Blushing Bromeliad

Nidularium fulgens, commonly known as the Blushing Bromeliad, forms a medium to large spreading rosette reaching up to 45 cm in diameter. Its stiff, serrated green leaves are delicately mottled with darker green spots, narrowing slightly at the base, broadening along their length, and tapering to a sharp point. During flowering, the plant produces striking bright orange bract leaves that are short and pointed, adding a vivid splash of colour. Native to Brazil, this species thrives best in bright shade or gentle morning sun.
