Aloe vera is a succulent featuring rosettes of greyish-green leaves with small prickles along the edges. They produce spikes of yellow and orange flowers in the Summer months. Aloe Vera is popular due to its medicinal properties - the sap is often used in skin care products and for sunburn relief. They thrive in a partially shaded area but will also tolerate full sun.
