Calibrachoa are closely related to Petunias and produce smaller, but very similar masses of flowers in a large range of colours. They prefer a full sun position and bloom year round. Calibrachoa are an extremely hardy mounding plant that can be ideal to use as ground cover or cascading from hanging baskets. They're popular in North Queensland as they tolerate the hot, humid climate very well and have minimal watering requirements in comparison to other cottage style flowering plants.
