Polyanthus, or Primula, are a compact growing plant that bears masses of colourful flowers during winter and early spring. They have stunning deep green foliage, and their blooms come in shades of red, pink, purple, white, and yellow. They are ideal for use in garden beds, borders, and containers - they also make cute indoor decorations when potted up! Grow these plants in well-drained, humus-rich soil and remove spent flowers to prolong the flowering period.
