German Ivy is a fast-growing glossy leafed vine in the Senecio family. It thrives in shady positions and is popularly used as a houseplant. This particular variety features lush green foliage. Due to its climbing tendency, it can be trained to weave along trellis in order to create unique and eye-catching appearances. German Ivy looks best climbing up trellis or cascading over hanging baskets and only requires a small trim now and then to maintain shape.
